I have been doing woodworking as a hobby for over 24 years. My wife and I have always been fascinated with the natural wonders of nature. We have visited many national parks. We have gone crystal quartz hunting at the mines in Arkansas. We have dug for geodes. I collect interesting rocks from every place we go. Then there is the different types of trees producing some very interesting grains and colors. The anticipation of what is inside a tree can be very exciting. Like Forrest Gump put it....Wood is like a box of chocolates....You never know what you're gonna get!

In 2020 I was forced to find other income, so I decided to use my woodworking skills to create a business. However, I wanted to come up with something that was different than what you would see with most other woodworking shops. I wanted to be able to custom design signs with meaningful or humorous messages and quality carved images. Custom Creations from Nature was born! Most people that work with wood will say the bark has to come off. I go to great lengths to try and keep it on. I try to keep everything in it's natural state except for the face that is being finished. There I go to great lengths to bring out the natural grain and color of the wood.

My products won't be appealing to everyone but if you are looking for that unique gift or something you don't have, every piece is unique. There might be another piece made that has the same image or message but the actual wood piece can never be duplicated! I hope you enjoy looking at the products.
